Cabinet Construction
  • Stainless model has stainless steel front doors and sides on exterior. Interior is stainless steel side walls, back, floor, ceiling, and door liner. This unit includes interior lighting.
  • Standard model features stainless door, front, and brushed aluminum sides. Interior has aluminum side walls, door liner,and back with stainless steel floor and ceiling.
Doors
  • Lifetime guaranteed adjustable torsion type closure system with aluminum and stainless supports. The face of each fitted with a 12″ long recessed handle with sheet metal interlock. Handles foamed in place to insure permanent attachment. Door gasket of one piece construction. Glass door models feature double pane,”Low-E” glass. Barrel lock standard for each door. Locks keyed alike.
Lighting
  • Incadescent interior lighting. Lights activiated by rocker switch mounted above doors.
Insulation
  • Entire cabinet structure and doors insulated using foamed-in-place CFC free polyurethane foam.
Shelving
  • Wire shelves (3 per door) available in stainless steel, chrome plate, or PVC coated. Shelves capable of supporting up to 200 lbs. PVC coated shelves are standard.
  • Full height shelf support pilasters, with double oblong holes on 1″ centers. Pilasters made of the same material as cabinet interior. Four (4) chrome plated, stainless steel shelf clips to be included for each shelf.
Cooling System
  • Top mounted, thermoelectric cooling system.
  • Peltier based technology is solid state, highly efficient, reliable.
  • Semi-Redundant cooling capability.
Electrical Characteristics
  • Unit completely pre-wired at factory, and ready for final connection to a 115/60/1 phase – 15 amp dedicated (recommended) outlet. Unit runs approx. 10RLA under test conditions.
  • A cord and plug set is included.
  • A sole use circuit is recommended.

  • This unit employs our thermolelctric cooling system with heat for unsurpassed temperature uniformity and control with minimal vibration. The cooling components are warranted for 7 years. Multiple thermoelectric units allow operation within most of range despite failure of one or more units.

TE Series

The TE series chambers offer thermoelectric cooling that provides a much more stable temperature control than other refrigeration systems. All the TE Series incubators incorporate inherent cooling redundancy, quiet operation, simple serviceability and excellent reliability.

Reliable Cooling Redundancy

Each TE series incubators includes multiple, independent thermoelectric cooling units. The 7 year warranty on cooling components and the ability of our chambers to maintain temperature, even if the chamber suffers multiple failures, is unmatched by any other refrigeration-based chamber.

Simple Serviceability

Due to the omission of all refrigeration equipment on these models, refrigeration technicians are not required during incubator servicing. Refrigerated incubators are not only costly to service, but can require days to service properly. Nearly every component of thermoelectric-based chambers can be serviced within minutes with basic tools.

Superior Control and Uniformity

Thermoelectric cooling and automatic switching system from cooling to heating control provide consistent results throughout the available temperature range. Standard control at the sensor in these chambers is ±0.2°C.

Widely Proven, Non-Proprietary Controllers

Standard controllers for the TE Series are manufactured by Fuji Electric and are ideal for laboratory incubators. Unlike many proprietary controllers, this controller is commercially available and proven in tens of thousands of installations. Standard functions include: autotuning, fuzzy logic, PID control, programmable alarms, calibration capability, offset capability, etc. A touchscreen control interface is optional. Other controller manufacturers are also supported (Watlow, Allen-Bradley etc.)

Greatly Reduced Direct and Indirect Energy Loads

The TE Series incubators utilize less energy than comparable incubators and introduce less impact upon building cooling systems. This efficiency “dual benefit” allows our chambers to be located in spaces unsuitable for other chambers.

Services and Warranties

We offer 24 hour technical support throughout the lifetime of your incubator. In addition to standard warranties, we also offer extended warranties for cooling components, parts and labor.
