NQ Series Portable Incubators
Portables have uses as common as transporting blood samples and as unusual as incubating condor eggs. We have incorporated battery technology to power this unit for twelve hours on battery power alone (37 degrees C) as an option - useful for those ascents to collect condor eggs or anywhere there's not a 120V or 12V supply.
CABINET CONSTRUCTION: • Top-opening (hinged lid), with folding carry handle for compact storage.
• Insulated, seamless, exterior construction of high-density polyethylene.
• Inside, molded poly with coved floor for ease of cleaning.
INSULATION: Fully insulated, using high-density, foamed-in-place, closed-cell insulation.
ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS: • Unit completely pre-wired at factory, 12VDC with car adapter. • A sole use circuit is required for charging. • Standard, redundant high temperature over-ride. • Optional battery operation. • Ruggedized interface panel. • Redundant power inlets.

OPTIONAL BATTERY PACK DETAILS:
- Ultra-lightweight. Less than 1/4 the weight of comparable lead-acid battery.
- Incredibly long life. Runs in excess of 12 hours at 37 degrees C.
- Proven rugged. Li-Fe batteries are the standard type of batteries chosen for motorcycle and automobile racing due to their weight, output, and reliability.
- Safe. Unlike other lithium based batteries, Li-Fe batteries are not susceptible to overheating and spontaneous fire. Unlike lead-acid batteries, there is no lead or acid to worry about.
