Environmental Chambers
All of our environmental chambers come standard with the following:
Temperature range of 4 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Humidity range of ambient to 90% (15-90% with optional dehumidification system). Control of temperature at sensor of +/- 0.2 deg C. Uniformity inside chamber of +/- 1.0 deg C. Control of humidity at sensor +/- 0.5%. Uniformity in chamber +/- 2.0%. Standard microprocessor controller with PID, autotuning, programmable alarms (hi/lo), ability to ramp/soak, process variable and setpoint variable offset, dual display of actual temperature and setpoint temperature (process variable and setpoint variable). Controls are able to be quickly exchanged for future upgrades or repair. Chamber construction: 300 Series stainless steel exterior front, stainless steel coved floor, solid, polyurethane insulated doors, key lock on all doors, 3 shelves per door adjustable on 1" increments. All KB series environmental chambers have ultrasonic humidification and compressor systems using R134A refrigerant. Typical optional accessories are Partlow or Honeywell Chart Recorders, 485 Communications for PC control, Temperature and Humidity Data Logging Monitors, full glass doors, and more shelves. Some clients chose to have our TraceLock installed for audit trails of chamber access and additional electroinc locking.
All of these chambers can be ordered with the Darwin Discovery Series 7” Touchscreen control panel providing a simplified graphical user interface to environmental chamber controls. Temperature, Humidity, Lighting, and many other functions can be controlled from one device, with all of the latest technologies including:

KB09 Environmental Chamber is our smallest standard chamber. Units can be stacked with optional racking set-up.
KB030 Environmental Chamber is a chamber with single door. Specifications listed above. Optional dehumidification. Model comes with stainless steel or brushed aluminum interior (looks very similar to stainless). This particular model is designed to fit through most doorways (28" wide).
KB055 Environmental Chamber is a chamber with 2 doors. Specifications and construction are standard as listed above. Optional dehumidification.
KB085 Environmental Chamber is a chamber with 3 doors. Specifications are standard as listed above. Optional dehumidification.
